SECTION J: THERAPUETIC RESULTS
As the therapist identify the real problem of the client child (R-jay) which is not accepting the reality that his mother already have her new family with the presence of Danny-his stepfather and his stepsisters. As result of it, the client child disobeys his stepfather’s command and requests. He does not respect him also.
Giving the client child some activities such as storytelling, role playing, games and others activity that could help the client child to identify what are his actions and behaviors that leads him in disobeying and lacking of respect towards adults especially in his stepfather Danny. By the help of the story telling narrates by the therapist, the client child could able to distinguish what really his relationship with his stepfather. The bonding time also helps the client to attach himself to his family especially his stepfather. Now, the client child can able to open up with his stepfather in terms of his feeling and emotions by the help of the Question and answer portion activity. The speaking skills also of the client child is being improved by means of Read it Loud Activity. Performing the activities, the client child realized the importance of obedience and respect to his life and to other’s live.
In this basis, the Therapist can say that the objectives she designed for the client child problem are definitely achieved just within 11 days of observation consist of 33 Hours ( 3 hours per day).The client child now knows what his relationship to his stepfather, the actions and behaviors that leads to disrespect and disobedience. He already build his communication skills (being open to his step father), relationship building skills (attachment to his stepfather) and speaking skills (all words with s).And the most important thing that the client child learned is the importance of respect and obedience in his life and to others.
